The cover features a specialty paper called fancy paper that expresses the texture and color of elegant textiles. In addition to classic colors such as white, red and yellow, there are Japanese names such as "Hiwa" (greenfinch) or "Sora" (sky) which match the color of the cover.
The cover also displays an ornamental frame taken over from Nissho Notebook brand. The combination of colorful specialty paper and ornamental frame creates an elegant design.
